Skrtel should be nowhere near. Sakho and Kos would be a good pairing, but you cannot have Can and Ramsey in midfield. Both lack the discipline and won't offer protection. I would have Coquelin with Can next to him.

Sakho is error prone and needs to improve, too many seem to really rate him but I think he is a work in progress.

I agree on the midfield and would fit Ramsey in somewhere as I really rate him.

    Maybe this..........

    ------------------- Mignolet
    Debuchy --- Skrtel --- Koscielny --- Monreal
    ------------------- Lucas Can
    --- Sanchez --- Ramsey --- Coutinho
    ------------------- Sturridge

Looking at balance other than fantasy footy.

Sakho is ahead of Kos in the national side

So either kos is out of the xi or beside sakho

Sakho's errors are typically his passing - which are often rare. These are more visible and clear to see which is why they are easily picked up on. He rarely makes defensive errors which is far more important.

Defensive errors such as positioning, concentration etc are hard to measure and see, and Skrtel makes these errors every game, and he gets away with it. Our defence has been sh*t for a long time and we continue to buy new players and try new things, but there is one constant and it's Skrtel.

I'm not a big Skrtel fan but he has improved and where I was calling for his head a while back I now think it's important that we keep him. Our defensive frailties are the same as the rest of the team, we lack leaders and organisers. There's a reason Lovren looked good at Southampton his name is Fonte, he controlled Lovren and told him when to hold and when to attack the ball, he also swept up and read his mistakes. It's this type of player that we need as none of our center backs can do this Rodgers has grouped together a bunch of head the balls.

Both crocks but Studge over Walcott easy. I'd still go Lucas over Coquelin, he's been good but he isn't as good as Lucas. Getting Lucas fit is again the issue.

Coq is a defensive midfielder - it's his natural position!
