...still think he could have been an integral part of our midfield -.-

He's a better tackler than Neymar and a lower centre of gravity

Gonna stick my neck out and say he'd be a good standard PL player. He looked a great player in the 'Spucus' combination, but unfortunately he went down with the ship the next season. I like the lad, and not because he's a local boy, I like his attitude and he does have ability, he just needs regular games and a manager who will put faith in him. His passing can be a little off but that's something that will be coached, obviously he's never gunna set the world a light but sometimes you need players who are just solid. Hope he goes on to have a great career.

good for him, could pass a bit, tackle bit and was a great pro and leader for his age group BUT he's a midget and simply put had he been 6 foot and rangy he'd be raved about.

good on him for moving cos lets face it 3 moves to championship shows where his level is at

no point sugar coating the pill... like homer simpson used to say... you're cut!

it seems to me that he's at least being smart and hoping to god another offer comes in so he can avoid blackburn like the plague.

I can't see a prem club bidding but though at that price bolton might bid

Good luck to jay. Thought he was a decent squad player that had his uses. Like his attitude. Was never going to be the next alonzo but a loss to us none the less.

Not even sure what rep is but you've earned some for saving me writing exactly that <ok>

    Spearing > Allen

Good luck to him, not sure why so many Reds want rid of a decent squad player and seem happy we're getting a mere tenth of what we paid for JA but I know who's name I'd rather see on the teamsheet. Another young lad who's been unappreciated and given little credit because he didn't come with a whopping price tag IMO.

  10. I agree about him being better than Allen but surely we're not aspire to 'better than Allen'? <laugh>

It was all a trick, we done it just so Spearing/two girls one Allen would change his name <ok>

  13. We can't let him go, he's our sixth choice RB <ok>

    Johnson > Kelly > Wisdom > Flanagan > Maclhvoihvorl (sp) > Spearing

I don't care if he's cost us nothing more than a pack of crisps per week, or if anyone else has cost more. He isn't good enough for the club. It sounds very, very, harsh but it's true. He was a very spirited player for us and definitely put in more effort than almost everyone on the squad. On his day he had games where he was actually good and helped us out in a tough transitional period. But now, we should be looking for better players. Let's face it, he's not ever going to play for a CL club unless we get 4th next season.

His tackling is off, his passing is off. He's more than good enough for the Championship. I'd sell him to a club of his choosing (that wants him) no matter the price. He deserves it.

Paper talk was he was holding off this move, hoping to go back to Bolton. he must have looked at Google Maps, or put it in his Tom Tom, and figured it wasn't much worse. He also has experieince of dick-head owners, so he should hit the ground running with the Indian chicken farmers.

look we need this to offset the massive net spend we've done.

we'll be 0.5mil in the black if we get shut...
