If that is genuinely the case then it's official, we have the worst luck. The day after we sell Fonte...and this happens. Grrrr

 

Only seen it once on tele (which is why I haven't set off looking from ratty Vardy) and my first thought was its his ankle. When he tried running it off he looked super uncomfortable, but the fact he tried gives me more hope on the injury. Tomorrow is so important, but I wouldn't risk Virgil if there's even a chance of him making it worse.
Its another reason why he's so likable, many players would have been down the tunnel checking their phone while our Virgil desperately wanted to continue. Top lad.

 

I would be surprised if it's broken as on Sunday his tweet after the match was 'Hopefully my foot is not to bad, positive mindset!' Wouldn't he have had an idea if it was broken?

 

I broke a metatarsal (before it became fashionable) playing cricket when I was a mere 40 something. Took a few days for the pain to kick in. From experience this is common with fractures - I've had a few!

Our 3000 or so regulars are brilliant. Occasionally we do get tosspots joining us for all the wrong reasons (Sheffield 2 years ago spring to mind where they: whinged throughout the game; wouldn't sing any standard songs just obscene ones; looked for a fight with the Police afterwards). I hope they don't fancy the cold!

Logic would say that if it was broken, they would have already announced it as it would mean him out for a month or two.
