He was talking to RK before his twatish rant. I can only see him staying if Liverpool don't bid £25m. If he does stay will people forget what a twat he has been?
If Lovren stays, he gets a clean sheet as far as I'm concerned. Have to support all our players, but suspect he will be allowed to leave in the best interests of the team. just make sure it isn't Liverpool....though as Ron said, they have money to spend after selling Suarez.
Sky still saying Dejan going to Liverpool, obviously weren't listening to Ronko who said there is a contract on the table and they will talk about it on Sunday.
I can't see any other outcome tbh. Long as we get as much as we can from them I can't say I mind that much.
Agreed Beefy. Either he stays, and we keep a decent defender, or we get the money we want, he can bugger off and we get a decent replacement. It's not the end of the world.
I think Ron is basically saying we will do all we can. So it enforces his comment that we aren't a selling club, while at the same time waiting for a bigger bid. If Lovren stays it will be a huge turn around.
Koeman didn't say Dejan wasn't going, just let everyone know his displeasure at his behaviour, though did say he knew about Lambert, Shaw and Lallana leaving, but there were supposed to be no more. Didn't sound like he gave much credence to Dani's sickness though. Expecting him back here training, whilst the team is on the continent. Doubt if he really expects that to happen though. Dani...man up, get back here and sort this.
But what if Ron talks Danni into staying and giving it another go? Obviously need to get Jose on board.
If all concerned are happy and make up.. Then I can only see it as a good thing, He is still a class striker. 1 less player to buy.
RK said he'd spoken to him 4 or 5 days ago, which would be after the interview and his social media madness, which was Sunday, but maybe that's not accurate. What was definitely true was when RK said his behaviour wasn't good for himself (Lovren's behaviour).
