Came over very well...he gives a straight answer when he can (with no games). I don't remember any manager in recent times telling us in advance that a player is expected to sign (Pelle). So he has spoken to Lovren...good to hear him stand up and criticise Lovren for his behaviour...though I still expect him to go. Sounds like Morgan is staying though . Love his answer about the United manager....won't talk about his character, but you will meet him and dicover why I gave that answer
I like this man. I like how he deals with the media, and he appears to be dealing in the best possible way with our supposedly want-away players. I like how he smells what happens in the dressing room. I was surprised that no-one asked about new contracts for Fonte and Cork, but he spoke glowingly about Jose so I guess it's only a matter of time.
I think I speak for everyone on this forum when I say that we all really want a big cuddle from Koeman.

Good stuff. Open, but not naïvely so. He's always going to get questions about other clubs and players because of his connexions to Barca and other Dutch players. Just have to take it as a compliment that we have a high profile manager. Also liked his way of alluding to Saints with the Suarez question: "he's a good player, but now they have a lot of money and now they get to spend it". Yes, we do.
He had just begged for more time to assess things here, but then added (in answer to a question about the talent coming through) that you didn't need to be here months to see what great players we had coming through the Academy
He still reminds me of Mika Hakkinen. Very positive conference and he comes across really well. Good point made by SaintCanon there that although it's annoying the amount of daft questions raised about other clubs, it is a backhanded compliment as we have such a high profile manager now. I can live with that.
Can't see Dejan staying, but players who are linked away will often end up with a new contact as an inventive to stay, e.g. Baines. The club can't give the appearance of giving up on him staying and let the price slip. At least he's talking to RK!
I thought he came across really well. Very honest, and very open when he can be. Some of the questions were rubbish, quite frankly, especially one about Bournemouth and the local clubs. None on Cork/Fonte/Boruc contracts, but I hope Adam asked for Solent. I think Morgan will stay. Dejan is a bit up in the air, but I know we would replace him. Nothing on specific players asked. It was mostly as I thought, all about the departures/rumoured departures. But Big Ron came across very well.
