been lucky enough to see most bands but one that I would have liked to but never did was Led Zepplin. Of the ones that I did the two gigs that I will never forget are Hawkwind and Bruce Springsteen.
Don't fret HOADIE, just rock on to what you like! Current music will be the golden oldies to your generation!!!
Good choice Sir!! Waiter, get that man a whilst I have a little to that that Mr.Jones and his Beat Combo are playing
Great mate, totally agree it will, I listen to music from the 90s so to other people of my age they think, why do you listen to old music, but I say it is only like 11-14 years old the stuff I listen to, The stuff I listened to like when I was between like 6-9
Also, as you get older your music tastes improve, as in, stuff you would never have bothered with at the time you might find you like!! And you will find other genres that appeal to your changing tastes!
Yeah my taste in music has chnaged a slight bit over the last few years, I like more music now than when I was 17
1970's Jam would have been pretty special - sadly many a band got a healthy coating of cheese when the 80's struck. All mod cons - what an album, Mr Clean is my fave...
The Jam The Smiths (Morrissey is still surprisingly good on his own) The Clash - too young at the time. Might go an see Big Audio Dynamite this Sunday, but not the same... Nirvana PS, saw Elbow last night - superb!
I know more music now than when I was 17 . The plus side of that is my brain is like a giant Juke Box!!
Off the album Sound Affects: Side 1: Track 1: Pretty Green This track is up there with the best of their earlier stuff!!
Oh my mind is like a music box from like 2002 and 2003, love them years I do, Great music there was for me.
Pretty Green has been slightly marred by Liam Gallagher naming his mediocre clothing brand after it, but it's a brilliant song.
Missed out Dr Feelgood, Tom Petty, Dylan with the Band, Johnny Cash. Hell the list goes on and on. Of some I've seen Pistols were great, as was very early Costello, the Ramones.
Artists/Bands I would have loved to have seen, Elvis, The Flying Burito Brothers, Jimmy Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Gene Vincent, Muddy Waters. Bands I,d love to see. Brian Setzer and his orchestra, Leonard Cohen.
