Kempton Snr had one of the first tv sets on North Hull, and your right, half the street used to come around and watch.
Screen spilt into 3 colours (blue at top, green bottom, think reddish in middle) to go on the front of black and white TV sets to make them look like a colour TV.

Was going to list some cars no longer around in large numbers as Hillman Imp and Hunter etc. Looked at Humber cars and on Wiki it included "The world's largest collection of Humber cars can be viewed at the Marshalls Post-Vintage Humber Car Museum in Hull. It includes 21 Humber cars dating from 1932 to 1970 on permanent display, plus 24 unrestored cars." Is this museum still open?

Went to Marshall's for Daughter's wedding car and saw loads of Humbers available for use, so go along and ask him.
