Huh? See them all the time here. The bagger always asks, "Paper or plastic?". We always get plastic, as they're good for picking up dog poop.
Bye Bye Frank the Yank. Hello Frank the Tank who will play for Hull FC next season. A giant New Zealand/Samoan international currently playing in the NRL.

I used to get a grant of 100 pounds a year all through my Grammar school years. The cheque was put in my Hull Savings Bank account. I think it was mainly meant to pay for my uniform. Do you remember HSB accounts at school. Paying 3d or a tanner a week into it.
Goal keepers that knocked everyone out of the way including their own defenders to catch the ball. When did this punching lark start? Hull City Council's grounds fitness telephone service. Great for referees to avoid travelling. Those little plastic submarines that you got free with cereals. You filled the top with baking soda to make them sink and when it dissolved they'd surface. Acey's sweet shop on a farm off Marfleet Lane. East Park rockies. The watch tower is now on Victoria Dock estate close to where it came from as part of the citadel.
Nah. I was a frequent visitor to Victoria Dock as a small boy, but you don't see it any more. Pictue 22 ot of 23 shows the dock with the Rank flour mill in the background, and you won't see that any more either! http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/pict...a-Dock/pictures-11980353-detail/pictures.html
A lot of bike guys I knew regarded this type of machine as akin to sewing machines but this is a fine example for the bike of the era, fairly fast for the engine size, economical and practically maintenance free. Honda and Suzuki had similar models, I don't think Kawasaki did though. We had nothing to touch it, there was the Mobylette which was French and we had the BSA (Best Scrap Available) Bantam, James, and Fanny Barnet. CZ & MZ were East European so the Japs wiped up the market from this level up to the superb 6 cylinder Honda CBX.
When I left school, it seemed like everyone I knew was getting a 'Fizzy'. A mate had one of these, he's striped it right down and sprayed it all matt black, we had a right laugh on it... please log in to view this image
Think this must have been the East Stand or the corner between the East and South (Bunkers Hill) stands as I can't see any seating behind all the bodies, I never actually used to stand in this area, and if I remember right to cross over from one stand to the other you had to pay but most of us climbed over the fence
