MON needs to start thinking different tactics for different teams. Why cant we just go and attack teams for a change and let them worry about us. MONs tactics would work with pace, something we are woefully short of when it comes to seb, gardner, vaughan etc. At 2-0 both Connor & Frazier should have been on and had a go. We are now hoping pool take their foot off the gas and take it easy.
Just had to come off-line and off shopping with the wife, seen too many performances like this. We make Liverpool look vastly better than they are. Can't blame individual players for tonight, the whole from Mig out are having a nightmare performance.
It doesn't help when our best CM is injured and our 2nd best CM is at RB. For me even Catts and Gardner are not good enough really. Cana, Cahill, Milner would all walk into our central midfield at the moment.
Don't think you're giving us enough credit. Buckets of energy and drive, Henderson, Gerrard and especially Suarez are looking fantastic.
Catts would be ahead of all of them Vegas. Better player than any of them. Without him we have nothing in centre mid. At least the mags are losing as well

Credit where credit is due your playing well, but its easy to play well when we give you the ball so easily. Liverpool have the makings of a good side in a few years time. I really like Sterling, I think he is going to be some player in a couple of years, he is not bad at all now.
yep. our defence has been woeful tonight, and usual lack of presence in c. mid.....against folk like Suarez and Gerard on their game, plus the rest = new arsehole being torn. bring on the new signings....please, please make em good uns.
We must buy 2 x CM's and a CB. Not cover not squad players but real quality. CB: Dawson or Lescott CM's: Milner and Diame (I would have Cana back at a push) They are the ones I would like, Diame has a release clause in his contract like BA lets trigger it and go for him.

We must watch a different player or I suspect only notice the bad things that he does. I'm not saying he is a great player, yet gets far more stick on here than he deserves - he is doing an unfashionable job. He had some good tackles tonight, running his arse off covering for Larsson & Johnson - who should be in front of Colback in firing line - its hard to do your job well covering for others. Sell him by all means - he will go the way of other Sunderland ostracised old boys such as Whitehead, Jones & Delap, who went to Stoke and go on to play in europe.
The best defence in the world would be under pressure playing behind our midfield. Larsson, Colback and Mcclean must be one of the weakest midfield trio's we have had for years. Johnson was like the anonymous footballer and Sessegnon was again simply awful. Fletcher was a very lonely and forlorn figure. That team last night will drive us toward the bottom 3 unless we can recruit at least 2 new central players, a striker and a centre half in the next 4 weeks. Depressing to watch last night..
