Acting like a gobshite then waving your mental certificate at me everytime it's my turn won't cut it. Ive tried the nice approach...he just ****s you off anyway and I can't recall requesting a pet for myself So should I put him on ignore? Patronise him? Or spend my Not606 experience being his punchbag? Or maybe just pretend so that he doesn't feel like the dick that he is.
More importantly is that it appears to be having the desired on-pitch intimidating effect to the visiting team. Some Citeh away supporters have reported it was an audio maelstrom (one apparently said they couldn't hear themselves think and that their ears were ringing for some time after FT) .
I’m sure it will continue to be a maelstrom so long as you can a) keep filling it, and b) keep performing on the pitch. These two things may be related. I have spoken to a few Spurs fans recently (I live in North London). They’ve all said something on the lines of “great stadium, bit expensive, not sure how often I can afford to go”.
If the acoustics are correct, then new WHL sounds like a stadium with a lot more present than its full attendance. So not requiring full houses to generate the atmo is good. "I have spoken to a few Spurs fans recently (I live in North London). They’ve all said something on the lines of “great stadium, bit expensive, not sure how often I can afford to go”. Everyone I have conversed with have said : Pitch side great. Food + grub reasonable (quality, price) . Members (non ST holders) not sure how often they are likely to get tickets.
It’s ****ing spectacular mate. The acoustics as they come across on the TV sound spot on. I can’t wait to see it in the flesh tbh.
Yeah, I think the "bit expensive" referred to tickets, not food Who eats in football stadiums? I realise plenty of people do, but it's not somewhere I'd ever expect value for money. If my mate, his sister, and her two sons (all members not ST holders) got tickets for City without any probs, I can't see that ever being a problem. ****ing expensive family occasion, was the point I think, and not one likely to be repeated too often. Another pal I spoke to this weekend went to Huddersfield with his boy; his words were, "My boy's got a ST. Not too sure how often I can afford to go tbh". And he has a well paid job. I'm not trying to be negative; you're having a brilliant season and the stadium looks superb. It will be generally interesting to see how the next few years pan out for you. And on balance, the more clubs like yours that can challenge the established order, the better it is for English football.
The other thing we hope is that the catering facilities in the away section are in the main as decent/large as those for the home crowd. Reason being that on Spurs 606 we get away supporters asking about pubs to go to pre-match etc. As all the High Rd pubs tend to lock down for home supporters only, often they have to choose pubs near the train hub they are travelling via (Kings Cross, Euston etc) .
