Hi all, going to watch the Bournemouth game tomorrow with my two sons and grandson.
I usually go to the pub in Westfield first (can't recall the name) then finish at the Springbok.
Thought we would try somewhere else first tomorrow for a change - any suggestions where to go for a decent pint walking from say The Green up the Uxbridge Road to Bloemfontein Road or thereabouts. :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0148-yes:

Thanks,
Keith

Are there any that haven't gone bust?

I've been to the Belushi's opposite the H&C line station and it was ok though not the most atmospheric.

Went to the Queen Adelaide early last season which is probably the best of the bunch but Ted is our resident alcoholic and should be along soon to let you know.

Thanks West Winds R - The Adelaide seems to be a good bet. Many many moons ago If I remember correctly, when I lived in East Acton, I used to end up there after starting off in the "Western" at the Savoy Circus 'cause being in Shepherds Bush it used to close at 11.00 rather than 10.30 like the Western used to.
The Western obviously long since gone now! :emoticon-0106-cryin

I think the British Queen is still open too. Best avoided probably.

Mmm you have got me thinking now - was it The British Queen I used to go to and not The Adelaide, used to head towards The Bush from The Old Oak Road???

They're near each other. The BQ was (is?) the hooligan pub so I'm told.

It's probably a gastropub now.

Coningham Arms from 1230 for me. Not far from British Queen but on the other side of the road.

Unless you were a prison officer or one of their sons the next port of call after visiting the Western Hotel was usually Du Cane Rd A&E
