You'll be doing lots of reading in the force Wiz. Mainly traffic tickets though.

I quite like reading some biographies Nev. I read both of Henry Hill's books withi "Wiseguys" and "Gangsters and Goodfellas"

Recently re-read James Ellroy's autobiography "My Dark Places" he has had a ****ed-up life. His mum was raped and murdered when he was eight and ended up becoming a benzedrine addicted homeless guy. Then he became a semi-jakey golf caddy for a while. Ace story.

Yip, pelters. That **** needs shot. Saying things like "Forsooth" and "My Lord" like some sort of junky landed-gentry is not funny.

Thought I'd heard of him. Will buy some of his books right now. Been looking for a new author. Getting through Chuck Palahniuk's stuff just now. Some of it is ace, some of it is utter ****e.

Brookmyres new book "Pandemonium" is good too. It's about a group of Glasgow Catholic schoolkids who go on "Highland Retreat" because one of their classmates commited suicide but half-way through all these hell demons start attacking them and they have to fight back. Really funny and gruesome.
