Only people from Liverpool would justify putting their hands on things that don't belong to them.

this^^Robertson approached the linesmen aggressively.

This really doesn’t look like walking past him. It’s a 10000sq m football pitch. There is absolutely no need for him to get this close.

I am not having a go at Liverpool players in particular - all teams are doing it but it really needs to stop. The referees are talking too much with players - they need to stop. They don’t need to explain decisions, just get on with game.
It should be no touching of officials whatsoever apart from a handshake..none of this putting the arm on shoulder when talking to them etc, if you allow some touching it then allows this sort of thing to creep in like the Mitro and Robertson incident.
If you touch a ref or lino apart from a handshake instant 5 match ban, they'd sharp stop doing it.
Sorry are you trying to say that being allowed to touch a ref on the shoulder leads to mitrovic barging into him and shouting swearing in his face? Absolute nonsense.
Do you want everyone to just be robots? Nothing wrong with having a friendly chat with referees. Used to do it all the time on a weekend. It’s always good to have a good relationship with them so you just have a chat before and during games
If you are saying the video doesn't show clearly enough that Robertson grabbed the linos arm, then I would state the same video doesn't show clearly enough the lino actually 'elbowed' Robertson - rather he just shrugged his arm towards Robertson.
You can't say one is accidential/didn't happen, while the other is a blatant assault, purely based on that poor quality video footage. If the lino gets in trouble, so shouod Robertson. End of.

To be fair, Robertson was only trying to help remind the official who his actual employer is and that he wouldn't be paid unless he started to follow agreed protocols.

Might I recommend a course on body language?
No idea what that has to do with the post? Did I read mitrovic’s body language wrong? Was he actually being polite?
Your player was approaching the referee aggressively surely you can see that?

video shows him walking towards the tunnel and lino in the exact same way every other player and official is walking ffs
Tbf, the lino shouldn’t be banned for the elbow. What he should be banned for is managing to give Jesus a foul for a horrendous dive only 10 yards away from him.

Nothing we're the club that will be challenging them now thought not Liverpool...
Thanks for everything we will take over from here.
