this^^

The official certainly didn't 'elbow' Robertson aggressively, more of a defensive 'get back' gesture but because Robertson had made a beeline towards the official his forward motion took him into the officials personal space

we also got to look how soft some of these footballers are and the fact they go down clutching at anything pretending to be shot
then jumping up to square up to the opponent, when the opponent has said 'get up you soft ****e'

I personally think Robertson should get a 3 game ban and a stern waring on his future conduct
the Official will get 3 games off to recover

If the official gets banned as what Liverpool Fans want, I could see a potential problem with further officials not wanting to officiate certain games
or going on strike in support of the official

I am not having a go at Liverpool players in particular - all teams are doing it but it really needs to stop. The referees are talking too much with players - they need to stop. They don’t need to explain decisions, just get on with game.

Watch the video. He’s walking towards the tunnel and the lino is walking away from the tunnel to the ref.

Sorry are you trying to say that being allowed to touch a ref on the shoulder leads to mitrovic barging into him and shouting swearing in his face? Absolute nonsense.

Do you want everyone to just be robots? Nothing wrong with having a friendly chat with referees. Used to do it all the time on a weekend. It’s always good to have a good relationship with them so you just have a chat before and during games

Don’t think I’ve said anywhere it’s blatant assault lol. I know you like putting things in your mouth but no need to put words in mine <whistle>

I said in my initial post, nothing should happen. Robbo should come out and diffuse the situation in my opinion, unless he honestly was having a polite conversation and the lino has massively overreacted and hit him with force, but only those two will know that.

Tbf, the lino shouldn’t be banned for the elbow. What he should be banned for is managing to give Jesus a foul for a horrendous dive only 10 yards away from him.
