I too hope we can sign Curtis Davies, from Birmingham - or somebody of similar stature and pedigree to give us a bit of defensive stability.
I know we were unlucky with injuries last season, but not since we had Malky and Fleming can I recall a central defensive pairing that I felt really confident about from one week to another.
Largely because they were virtually injury free and therefore ever-present, which is crucial for some consistent performances
