Kepa James Zouma Christensen Emerson Havertz Gilmour Mount Ziyech Werner CHO Take off the shackles and let them play. Tactics?? Score more goals than the opponents.
No arguments with that team CP. That should be good enough to get the job done. Following earlier result we now know that if we win here we are away to Barnsley next for a place into the quarter final. This competition has to be a major priority now as our league form has fallen off a cliff. Winning the FA cup could save our season and save Frank's job ! Glad to see Arsenal gone...we would have 3 more Fa's in our pockets only for them !!! 12.00 tomorrow on BBC 1....feck knows what that means for you...get the Wolf Blass chilled .
Is Franks job really under threat? Who would replace him and is it wise to remove him now? Ole seems to be doing a passable job at United and everyone had written him off ages ago too.
I sincerely hope not. A lot of these players have let him down and let's be honest if it was anyone else except Frank, after the last set of league results, the manager would be gone. Here's hoping we can go on a run now and get back up that table. FA cup is a realistic target if players get their arses in gear !
Better display against a lower team. Werner looked sharp and committed, real pity his penalty was saved. Gilmour made a big difference, always looking to get the play upfield. Thought 2nd half we slipped back into that infuriating 10 passes across the back 4 before we tried to go forward, that really needs stamping out. Tammy looked good and passed intelligently, deserved his 3 goals, but shouldn't have missed 3 others. He is still not clinical enough. Thought Pulisic was poor and CHO must start before him as he's clearly in better form. Ziyech until he ran out of puff ,was much better too. So a step forwards, now please don't undo it by starting out of form players next game. Havertz needs to get on earlier though he's looking stronger and quicker. If Frank can just get the back 4 to be much quicker starting attacks, the entire team will sharpen up.
I felt sorry for Werner with his penalty getting saved. He deserved a goal for his tireless work rate. With a new manager now coming in, let’s hope he hits top scoring form.
