a team we dont tend to do well against with only one point out of aour last three games and after a poor performance against Lincoln we need a more constent performance and some points.

let us be gratful we have O'Leary who was my man of the match, four goal bound shots saved and the crossbar saved town from a worse scoreline .

we started like we were the away team ,first thirty minutes hufff and puff but no chances on goal and the midfield was to easily by passed , we gat a penalty and it finally galvanise town with town creating chances and sustained pressuer. Edwards had three chances but no shots on target we failed to capatilzes on this dominant period.

with virtuality no service Lang still made a nusance of himself

we make the worst possible start to the second half and give away a stupid penalty an inefectice thirty minutes and town wake up for the last fifteen minutes but towns ditribution and decidsion making was poor.
two points out of last four games

Agree Zen, thank God for O'Leary for those cracking saves. We were clearly second best overall against one of the worst away sides in this league and were quite lucky to get a point. How some people think their penalty was soft is beyond me - Beckles won the ball on the floor and then inexplicably pushed the forward in the chest with both hands- I have always been a fan of Beckles but he has made far too many unforced errors this season. Thought Sears was steady and Lang held the ball up well with very little support from others. Whalley is such a good pro that he runs his socks off even when being constantly played out of position but he is so ineffectual in that roving forward role. I think the fans are getting really fed up with the defensive nature and ponderous build up from this team and Ricketts needs to address this sooner rather than later, otherwise he will steadily lose support.

we had one forward and at times four defenders marking one player, there is caution and defensive minded approach which has got us the points we have, however the dont lose at any cost can be frustrating and when you have a fifteen minute spell of dominance as we had at the end of the first half with lincoln on the back foot penned into there own third, we have to kill off teams and do better with the chances we have, we did not and got punished and any neutral will rightly think we were lucky to get a point lincoln had more chances and made our keeper work a lot hard than there kepper had to.

we have a very defensive mantra and style of playing so we are not going to be camped in the opponents half for any length of time as if in doubt we pass it back. so most of our goals will come from either a counter attack or set piece
