Not sure what match they were watching but he was ****e all game. Couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo and gave the ball away all night. Second touch is a tackle and couldn't trap a bag of cement. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole :emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:

Didn’t see the game. How did Hume play? We’ve got some cracking options at LB now.

canny game that considering the changes, pritchard very busy but lacked any real involvement i thought, AoB seemed a little 'less interested' maybe, younger a solid display again but i thought his first thought was always a back pass or across to alves even when he had time to take a touch and look at his options.

dan neil obviously the stand out player but once again, there was no player you can say played badly, some not involved as much as they were probably hoping but our early goal most likely changed a few things and we were happy to press and pass around rather than going all out attack.

strong side from lincoln who had managed a couple of very good wins already so to win and almost claim a clean sheet was a very good result and plenty of minutes for a few of the lads...onien should be ok, took a knee in the kidney area and that can be painful for a while.

being honest, pretty much obsolete most of the game, maybe pacing himself or under instructions, came alive a wee bit late in the second half with a couple of canny runs but one of those that did not seem to get very involved in the game.

A few snippets from the gaffer...

"I thought Dan Neil was top, top drawer. It's an art form the way he moves around the pitch and I'm so happy to be working with him and to be able to continue watching his development.

"It proves to me that the work behind the scenes is going really well.

"We talk a lot about wanting to be sustainable and to do that you've got to bring players through. At the moment we are doing that in abundance.

"I'm really grateful for the travelling fans as well because they made an atmosphere for our lads," he said,

"Wearney is still buzzing in there to get the goal. You cna see Harrison [Sohna] still has a bit of physical maturation to do but he's very smooth on the ball, and you always want a left-footer in there.

"He had two good players around him in Alex Pritchard, who was excellent, and Dan."

LJ says the Onien decision was a bit of a nightmare on his behalf. Wanted to see the game out but backfired. Scan on a rib injury tomorrow.

Enjoyed that as did the Mrs. Good performance controlled the game. Some canny youngsters coming through. Passed the well from back to front. Agree that o brien is looking slightly disinterested but was playing on the left. Anyway it was baltic but time for a nice malt to warm up. Purely medicinal of course. Good positive attitude from all and pleased to put Saturday behind us. On we go.

For some of those lads it'll be the best win of their career so far ...

    ... great to see them.

Yep, bloody daft decision to bring him on in the first place. Hope the lad is OK.
Compounded the daftness by replacing him with Embleton.
