And in all fairness does anyone think we'd be in this position if LB were still manager ? Not saying we'd be near the top, the team isn't good enough, but don't think we'd be in the bottom 4 either. This season is now about survival only and NA isn't the man for the job I'm afraid.
It's time to begin the process of replacing Nigel Adkins. Even if that takes a couple of months, a new manager and his people should be in place before we go into the Christmas schedule of games. And if that means Johnnie Jackson and others on Adkins' coaching staff have to go, then so be it. Or Charlton Athletic will be playing in the 4th tier for the first time in 117 years next season.
Just been reading reports from fans who went. Seems the same old bad habits came back as soon as Lee went off. No support for the FB's, Kirk invisible, players hiding, no service for the lone striker. Either the recruitment has been an abject failure or Nigel Adkins ain't got a clue. I don't think he'll get sacked.............yet, but a defeat on tuesday might change that.
We're conceding too many goals. I think MacGillivray needs to sort his defence out. Here's how to do it..... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/58942834
Dropping the latest scapegoat Albie Morgan doesn't appear to have done the trick. Whatever anyone thinks about his ability no one can doubt his commitment.
