A word from Kenny about Joe... I can see Joe leaving in the summer. He doesn't seem to fit in and a move to Lille on a permanent deal looks like a good deal all round. I had high hopes for Joe when he came to Liverpool but it just hasn't worked out for Joe here. He seems to be enjoying his football at Lille so hopefully he keeps playing well and can find a club where he can show what he really can do.
I dont know... I think the main reason behind Joe Coles failure last season was his fitness... He was fat! If he comes back next season and is confident and fit, I can't see why we wouldn't keep him. I think his trickery would be brilliant for suarez to feed off and I think he has the invention in his final ball to get the best out of big andy as well. If we're in europe next year (even europa) players like Joe Cole could change games for us, whether thats against Manchester United or Maccabi Tel Aviv
I think he will move on, perhaps Lille will make an offer, he would be mad to turn it down if he is really enjoying his footy there. I don't see him playing for us again.
I would be surprised if Cole came back to us.It does seem that he is happy over there and the Club are happy with him and a permanent move would be a good thing for us as well seeing that we are still paying the biggest part of his wage For the life of me i can't understand why we took him on our books in the first place.
Hodgson needed a marquee signing and he was free (H&G agreed to the large wage knowing they wouldn't have the club for much longer.) the country were screamng for him only weeks earlier at the world cup

looking back thats easy to say, but a lot of fans (me included) thought he was a great signing at the time, but that quickly dwindled
