Has been added to the forum, and the coloured bars have been removed

Good move - it's more simple this way <ok> I can't wait to see how many dislike's I'll get for my views ;)

Will be interesting to see how it goes, is a bit like the old * system on 606, there'll always be a token dislike as there was always a token 1 star on any thread!
 
Not sure about this feature........You will have those that will want to have top rep power......and will get upset when they lose points.......you will have those that will see that that happens by constantly hitting the dislike button. In contrast you will get those who thinks it increases their street cred by keeping to a big fat zero, so perhaps post constant derogative posts to achieve this.........as I said not sure about this at all. Still we will see!
 
Don't like it... because it will make the thread look untidy and it's too easy for comments. Before you would have to strongly like something to bother to 'rep' it, whereas now you can comment on every post. Could even turn into bullying. But then I'm not of the young generation, so probably many will like it.
 
Just another ego rubbing method. I thought the forum was about airing, sharing and discussing/debating different view points on topics related to SFC or football. Whether someone likes me or not is irrelevant.
 
Maybe this is a foolish question, but what is rep? reputation? If so, how do you get rep? And most of all... what is the point?

The rep connected to the liking/disliking has been taken away <whistle>

Bloody rep rapping geordies.
 
I don't like it because it's ugly and breaks up the page, but I can't pretend I'll take it seriously - last night I disliked 54 of joesteinberg's posts and took his rep power from 4 to 0, pretty happy with that effort.

His rep with be back to normal now. Mick (The main man) thinks people took advantage of it to piss people off <whistle>

Agent Bruce (Newcastle Mod) has only 483 dislikes to his name <laugh> I think he cried to mick due to losing his massive positive rep <wah>

Pretty good effort! Haha what did Agent Bruce's rep go down to on 483 dislikes?! I noticed all the Geordies have huge rep bars :p

We got it down to like 1 green bar <laugh> It was a bit of fun which the Geordies did not like.

I was at 4 red bars <ok>
 
If I like/dislike something I might write a post to say so. Thus increasing my post count and massaging my own ego, rather than someone elses. :D
