Our midfield is creative, no doubt but without Henderson, it is lightweight. I'd like to see us invest in some talent in the middle of the park that is over 5 foot feckin' 6". Anyone else feel the same?

I loved Javier. Never seemed to get the credit he deserved in the pace and acceleration department. That combined with his tackling and reading of the game made him a superb DM. Wasted at CB but then, it's Barca. they don't have defenders
Javi Martinez is a long shot but apparently he's unhappy at Bayern.
The more realistic option is Lars Bender.

Also, our midfield is a lot better when Lucas isn;t playing. Nothing against the lad, but with both him and Gerrard in the middle, it lacks legs, mobility and energy.
You can only have 1 or the other playing. Allen, Henderson, Coutinho and Sterling ahead of him provide great energy.
