At the friendly, against Real Sociedad, which I did not get to, I understand our new floodlights were in action . They have been installed, apparently, to aid the quality of TV transmissions but according to reports they are much brighter than the the old ones and make a complete change in the atmosphere at the Bridge! I can't wait to be at the next floodlit game!

Chelsea tv was messed up that night so I didn't get to see most of the game, tried a download later and it wasn't much better so I can't really say what the floodlights were like. I was seeing red at the time though but don't think that was much to do with the lighting
