    I watched the film Compliance yesterday, it's based on the true story of the McDonald's prank call strip search/ rape case. Has anyone ever heard of this? It comes as no real surprise to anyone who's studied or read up on the Milgram experiments. Shocking how man times i happened though.

    They have half a point. But what's more relevant than the number of mines which were closed is the state which the communities were left in afterwards. Thatcher left the north in tatters and generally showed disregard for anything and anyone outside London.

    Yuuuup, there is no better example than that. I'm starting to think that maybe we shouldn't have prisons either. Look at all those people going to waste and doing nothing for society (possibly despite not having done anything wrong). Community service for all levels of crime!
