    Throw a bat at him.

Seriously though I love Ozzy. I heard he fell off the wagon recently so hopefully he's not all messed up again.

Hey Joe/Dan, as Law students, I'd like to ask you a legal related question. In DBS/CRB forms, it asks you to declare if you have any convictions/warnings/whatever and they say if you declare false information, it could be a criminal act but what if say you've been told off by a police officer but you genuinely don't think it was an official warning which would appear in a DBS check? How can they say whether you've deliberately declared false information or if you genuinely believed the information you put down?

Being "told off" by a police officer is not something you would have to declare, unless it was on record. If you don't have a criminal record, you have nothing to declare.

Now I'm going to have to ask you to tell us all the story which resulted in you being reprimanded by a copper.

If it's only a telling off they'd probably have no record of it anyway, so even a real stringent background check wouldn't throw anything up. Either way, you'd know if it was an official warning.

There was a man on Question Time who said that he'd been given a caution and the police hadn't told him that he'd been given one.

Was once with a group of friends and a security guard came up to us and said that someone of our description had been holding up traffic  <laugh>

I hope he didn't just pick on us as we were teenagers who were having a laugh in Tesco. It would be a bit hypocritical if he was because he was black and he wouldn't have liked it if someone accused him of doing something because of the colour of his skin, which a lot of policemen do nowadays.

I've been arrested twice and jailed once. Once was because I looked like a guy that had beaten some one up. The other time i was arrested and jailed because "I looked like I was looking for trouble" whatever the hell that means. Which i successfully sued for wrongful arrest and imprisonment.

Got pulled over once for doing 25kph over the speed limit (to be fair to me, it's a ridiculous transition from an 80 zone to a 50 that no one obeys) with a car that had more than a couple examples of drug paraphernalia in it. Got nothing but an unofficial warning for speeding because a friend of mine had swapped my driver's licence with that of someone else at a party without my knowledge, and the two RCMP officers were in tears laughing at the fact that I pulled out a license featuring a 5'0"-nothing girl with a ponytail.

Only other minor brushes with the law came in my local town before the RCMP moved in...the town cops where I grew up were mad bastards all, but their reign ended when the chief was imprisoned for having carnal knowledge of a 14 year old, which worked out well for everyone but that 14 year old.

Got stopped by MP at RAF picket post in Cyprus, smuggling a girl back onto camp. In the heat of argument with said Snowdrop I called him "mush"....he asked me where I came from and told him Soton.....he was from Pompey but it diffused the situation an he let me in, best of pals. (Apologies for fraternisation with a Pompeyite but sometimes one has to bite the bullet)

Sorry to break the conversation but seen this on Twitter. Not sure if it's genuine but I guess we will see.

@Super_JJE: Just thinking, I hope the Southampton 1st team footballer who broke his ankle at Varsity today recovers soon. Scummer or not #unfortunate
