Got my new phone today. Samsung Galaxy S4.

 

And mine, but I hardly go there.

 

Good phone S5 is great but too expensive.

 

I'm making a vow to always listen to Beefy's phone advice. Remember he was praising the HTC One to the heavens a few months ago, I ended up getting it and I love it.

 

Well I love the S4 already.

 

I asked Beefy his view of my S2, a month or so ago, and he said that the whole Samsung Galaxy family range of phones are excellent, and they just get better with each model. IIRC he prefers the HTC One, but it's a close thing when compared to equivalent Galaxy. I think it's fair to say that he has a very good opinion of both HTC and Samsung phones.

 

When is it out..?

 

Just upgraded from S2. Nice phone. Samsung is the make for me.

 

11th of April. Going to be about £70 to buy the handset then £40 odd a month on a 24month contract.

 

HTC One 2 is having a 'opening' event on 25th. Will be out around the 8th of April. Can't wait to get it in story.

 

Academic interest only for me, because that's way too hot. The S4, on the other hand starts to become very interesting, because the contract price will drop substantially. I can already have an S4 Mini for a very similar price [£20 instead of £18 - same deal] to my S2, but the next phone I get will have a bigger screen. I might even consider one of the Galaxy Notes. I use my S2 as a pocket computer so much outside that a Galaxy Note with a bigger screen, without becoming too big to fit in a decent coat pocket, just seems the way to go.

 

Why not just call it HTC Two

 

The offside rule is so simple you can explain it on the back of 50p coin!

 

Well they are still thinking of calling it HTC M8 as in mate. Which sounds even worse.

I hate the smaller screens due to having large hands. I tend to stay away from all the mini versions as well. Most mini versions atm are the same phones with a few features missing for more money.

 

I'm thinking about getting the Nokia 5110. You can get the snake game on it and you can get inter changeable faceplates which effectively means you can customize your own phone...

 

The new pound coin is super ugly, then.
