Lidl....new store!

So Lidl plan to open a store on the old Ford garage site towards the top of Muller Road!

Plans are to have it open in the new year. One of their largest, with a car park.
I wonder what Trash, and also Sainsbury's, will think of that.

With Aldi and Lidl taking market share from the bigger stores this might muddy the waters further.

Are they using the bus depot or some other site?

They will probably knock the bus depot down as the land is sliding in towards the river and will need strengthening. However First are still using it as a scrap heap to dismantle their old buses and coaches.
