No point - we're going down unless we change manager and there won't be the appetite next season to fill the current capacity.
Like it or not if Cardiff win promotion and we fall around 5,000 regulars will jump ship overnight. Our average Liberty attendance in the Championship was 18,000 ish.
If Bristol City win promotion an we fall we'll also lose a couple of thousand regulars.

Unfortunately Bob, the Yanks are doing it to drive value and hence cash for themselves, not to extend the Stadium or any other altruistic desire.

That said, relegation would destroy value - they seem to struggle to understand that part of the equation.......

If it means that the yanks & co **** off would that be such a bad thing ?The majority of clubs when relegated see their crowds drop why should we be any different

The next question would be, if the yanks disappear, who's next in line? Chinese, Russians, more yanks? You lose the current owners, by definition there have to be new owners.

Brum, Wolves, Hull and us. We've all suffered. We seem to be coming out the other side of it, but there's still a lot of pain around the leagues. I know quite a few Man Utd fans who bailed when the Glaziers come in. The benefit they had was that for everyone who gave up their season ticket there was another ready to buy one.

Be careful what you wish for.

We can't lose what we don't want and we don't want this bunch .I have no problem with having an owner who makes money on the back of the Club as long as it's not to the detriment of the Club and yes they do exist .as you say you and others have had more than your fair share if shysters and it looks like we're now becoming members of an ever expanding list. We're not a big Club nor imo will ever be something which has never bothered me but finding someone to buy us with good intentions is going to be difficult and that's where our main problem lies, there was recently a consortium of Chinese who wanted to invest in the Club (not buy it) and in the City ( we have a good university which has a large proportion of students from China) but that came to nothing because Jerkins and co wanted their money , opportunities like that don't come around often and now we're stuck with this bunch of cnuts until they take all that they can financially leaving us in what condition I don't want to imagine

Rich people dont buy clubs to lose money and that's a fact but there are 2 kinds of owners.........One owner will buy a club for a cheap as they possibly can and they are not there to improve the playing side but to buy up assets for a future sell on just to make money for themselves. Football itself dont really come into it...
The other type of rich owner will also try to negotiate a good deal but they are genuine football people that know they will have to spend a few bob to improve the playing side and probably make a small loss for a couple of seasons but the Club will grow and eventually produce rewards for the owners...
Our owners are the first lot who are not here for football reasons but for themselves.....

If true its a pity . I know the local MPS have been questioning the Council about the "morality" of the sale

It is ..... and here is the confirmation from BBC

    Swansea take control of Liberty
Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea (12:30 GMT)

A bit of breaking Swansea news... the club has announced it has taken full control of the Liberty Stadium.

Previous co-owners Ospreys - the Pro14 rugby union region - will continue to play at the 21,000-capacity stadium as part of the new deal.

I’d prefer if we concentrated on the league and staying in it before getting the deal done, but we’ll see..

If only they put the same amount of effort into the transfer windows as they have to making this deal happen <ok>
