Well, a large part of that reason is when he signed for us he turned down a Premier League club and a club that got promoted to the Premier League that season.
According to who? Another one of his stories to the press where he just says the right things? If he is the best right back in the championship as some fans seem to think then why has he hardly played all season? And don't give the 'he doesn't fit into our system' excuse. We play that system or a reason - it suits our best players. And it's funny how fans of every other team in the championship laugh at the suggestion he is the best right back in the league.....
After all the games he's sat out this season I was wondering if he wasn't as good as we thought but then he comes back in against Cardiff and he looked as good as ever. He's a quality fullback.
Well, he isn't the best right back in the Championship. I like Liam and I think he is a really good player and if we had played 4231 or 442 he would have played 40 odd games this season. But he ain't better than McNaughton or Anya that's for sure.
Last season Rosenior was the best right back in the league, and his first season here he was very good. If we'd played 442 I have no doubt we'd be talking about him as the best in the league again, in his sub appearances and on Saturday he's looked good so why doubt him? Without a doubt I'd offer him a new deal, but if he'd rather move on and play football then I'd understand.
So if Rosie was a good player we would have played 442? He is a very good right back as he showed last season but with the players we brought in and system Bruce thought would work well in the championship he did not fit in. There are 11 players in a team not just him.
