Yep, criminal to let him go. But I guess really, he needed to move on to advance his career. Sitting around here waiting for his chance due to injuries or whatever would have done him no good. Likewise just sending him out on loan to any old place year after year. He was never going to dislodge Chezzy or Hobbs, and if he was still here now he'd never dislodge Davies or McShane, so best for all concerned. Just one of those things. Is he a city fan? Once he starts getting to a level I'm sure he'd be happy to return.
Not sure if he is a fan as such but he is still in the area.Came through the ranks so will have some affinity to the club.
I seem to remember reading he was a west ham fan, something to do with his old man. I think his parents still live on james reckitt in east hull though.
