I always enjoy Clive's columns even though I will at times skip read them & thought this was a superb read.

To my mind, we are very fortunate as Rangers supporters with our message boards. They may cater for different people, but in there own way not606, LFW & Report (not named in any specific order!) are mainly good. Of course, all three have meltdowns at times but in general they are brought back on track by the moderators AND the regular posters.

I have not quoted Indie etc. as i never visit the site. They may well be at the same level as the boards mentioned!

Terry - I agree with this post.

I only read these two message boards (not606 and LFW).

LFW is unique as it has "Clive" and, like him or loathe him, he writes excellent pieces of journalism. I personally subscribe to the former group.

Not606 is a very friendly and enjoyable place to post and to discuss QPR (and sometimes other interesting topics). It is certainly not cliquey.

Yes, we are lucky to have such boards....and of course such a team!

A very good article to say the least, especially like the following ........

"Whether that will stand up now, given the players they have available to them until January at least, remains to be seen. There will continue to be teething problems and bedding in time – Chris Ramsey’s style is very distinctive, often leaving the defence exposed in the quest to pose a goal threat from all areas of the pitch, and it’s taking some getting used to. There are two more new players to add into that now, plus Sandro, Fer and others to come back in. After Mark Hughes and the Taffia, talk of giving a team time to gel is to QPR fans what a late night appearance from the police helicopter is to residents of London’s suburbia"

Yes, closing the defence up will certainly help ...................... it really is that obvious. That alone may take some time.

In Redknapp's defence, if you look at his results over the first two months of his tenure, even though we were playing unattractive football, our leaky defence was certainly tightened up, and apart from Liverpool, were mostly tight low scoring games. However, still relegation form with only 13 pts from those 12 PL matches, but only beaten 3 times..
