It’s not often I say this but if we are playing Wham
We really should be smashing them by 20-30 goals +
I mean Pepsi & Shirley must really be getting on now !
David Moye's record at Anfield, is nothing to write home about. That is not to say ,we should take West Ham for granted.

I was very impressed with gravenberch from an attacking perspective but not so.much defensively. he will be important as the season progresses but Szoboszlai? what an impact!

if we keep them fit now I think we will have a good season.

just need all 3 lines to keep those key men fit and I think we are going to be up there.

Not sure what to do with this as clearly I didn’t make it clear it was a joke
Could double down and say that one of them is dead so we really should be winning it but can’t make my mind up whether it’s in bad taste or not lmao <laugh>

His interview post match was illuminating. He basically said that klopp let him play in a free role. I'm not sure how that would work out in our best XI or whether he'll have a more disciplined role in the side.

Liverpool: Alisson, Gomez, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Jones, Diaz, Salah, Nunez.

Subs: Kelleher, Endo, Konate, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Quansah.

No TAA still. Surprised Konate not playing. I guess with no TAA Matip might be useful with his ability on the ball though.

Rest picks itself. Hopefully Mac recovered from last weeks fatigue

I thinknthst would be klopp saying hey you won't have a clue of the systems anyway so go do it on the attack.

I'm sure he will be learning the systems as we go.

klopp needs a critical mass of players to work the tactical side and despite gravenberch staying back to get settled in there's not so much they can do.

if we imagine that 505 formation with szobo and gravenberch advanced of someone sat beside trent (macallister) I'm sure it would work BUT I think that is now in the bin and trent is slotting to right side cb more than no 6.

Glad to see Darwin starting, he just causes problems for the oppo. We might not have the control with him in the team, but he brings edge and chaos!

West Ham team news CONFIRMED
The big news for the Hammers is that talisman Jarrod Bowen has put his earlier illness behind him and declared himself fit for this afternoon's trip to Anfield.

West Ham XI: Areola, Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Emerson, Ward-Prowse, Alvarez, Soucek, Bowen, Paqueta, Antonio

Subs: Fabianski, Fornals, Kudus, Cornet, Ings, Ogbonna, Benrahma, Kehrer, Mavropanos

i think it's important to not ruin konate as he returns from injury but it is a risk

Alisson
Gomez, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson,
Szoboszlai MacAllister, Jones,
Salah, Nunez Diaz

Kelleher, Endo, Konate, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Quansah.

im sure konate will come.on for matip on 70mins

joalta and gakpo as attacking subs.

Elliott and gravenberch as midfield subs.

there's genuine options there in most positions

the completion means no place for doak or bajcetic so hopefully midweek they get a run out again
