Job done, 5 good goals. Nice to see the young lads get some first team minutes.

scanlon and Chambers are decent pace and eagerness helps drive the game on.

Chambers is a lad who is a bit of a rhys Williams for me. he's really a cb not an attacking left full. he needs a loan and games so hopefully he gets a better loan off appearing in this.

quansah is easily a prem cb already. really happy with his progress.

whisper it quietly but there's a 16 year old who's just as good coming and thsts not mentioning the two lads we bought in the summer.

only time will tell how Gordon and doak progress now as well. they might struggle to get the chance

Saw Nyoni I think it was training with first team before game today. Was the guy signed from Leicester and is apparently one that’s causing a stir

He had a really good game. If he'd put that chance away everyone would be raving about him.
Gravenberch looks quality, and after a shaky first couple of games Endo is slotting in nicely now. He won't be part of our strongest team, but a decent squad player.

    Just watched the highlights.

Some of the skills on show by our lot were awesome. I know he hit the post but the way Nunez sat the defender down before doing the keeper was brilliant

    Same
Though I'm not sure what he is exactly yet
One things for sure, he causes havoc.

Frustrating at times like last night, you just cant miss those and be a serious goalscorer.

So maybe hes the new dirk kuyt:bandit:

I think Gravenberch is a perfect example of a player that needs the right manager to flourish.

He does have weaknesses in his game, and so it's not a surprise that defensively minded coaches like Nagelsmann and Tuchel were reluctant to play him, but I do think klopp is the perfect manager to get the best out of him.

nah, he's better looking and faster.

plus dirk would do the business on a very high level of output compared to what he should have been able to deliver. Gerrard got all thr plaudits but dirk made a lot of goals as well.

nunez should have had a goal of the month there. he best his man brilliantly, did the keeper and then failed badly.

we have absolutely rinsed bayern on this.

they have only got themselves to blame.

the biggest robbery since mane. (Southampton always regretted that fee)

in the end though, bayern had/have some tasty midfielder for him to compete with as well. kimmich, goretzka etc.

They have however done what you said, which is not play the guy enough. they've gone and sold him on the last day based on whatever reason "reluctantly"

I presume this means the directors didn't want to but tuchel said he wasn't going to use him.

we've got a 100mil player (if rice, fernandez, grealish and caicedo are then he is) for less than half price.

It was a brilliant bit of skill to go past the defender.

I was thinking why the **** is Salah on. Then he scored and it's all smiles and I got it. Top management from Klopp.

That's why I said I think he'll get there, he's steadily improving all the time.

He sulks if you don't let him play.
Which is entirely a good thing imo.

Think gravenberch just shows what a bit of confidence can do to a player. Obviously a talent as don’t play for Ajax and move to Bayern if not. But was prob an example like so many of moving to a big club a year or two too soon. Moved to a club where wasn’t first choice and stunted his development a bit.

Im sure if he stayed at Ajax another year he’d be in the de Jong category of costing 50/60m to a top club.

and if playing in the prem 100+

we've got 2 worldies for the price of one Bellingham and a world cup winner for less than one oap.

Szoboszlai and gravenberch have the potential to be the silva and kdb for us.

macca is not a fernandinho but he brings other things.

quansah is already better than Joe gomez.

all in all we have done a lot since May to improve.

having the forwards fit is also helping.

if we can get a consistent team and run going now we can fly.
