So Mingolet. Not much to do, came out to sweep up a few times but nothing out of ordinary. Taa. No mistakes, decent outing. Moreno, same. Lovren. Blocked everything he had to. No errors. Klavan. Targeted by long, did ok. Nothing great. Henderson par for course. Windy. Annoying. Passing so slow. Coutinho. Goal and assist. good show but not ultimate controlling game. Mane, decent but no chances. Occupied two players Firmino, ok, came more into it second half. Salah motm. Starring performance and really made the difference. Southampton were poor tbh.
Southampton may have been awful but that Van Dijk fella looks decent. Shocked no one has gone in for him
Seen. At this rate, Chelsea will be looking to continue their traditions of trying to buy ex-players back again!
I must say we are really missing astros updated chart right now to bask in the glory or... no not astro... mo salah's brilliance.
No Premier League player has more goals in all competitions than Salah's 14 this season and though he was quieter after the break, Coutinho picked up the mantle to stab home when Roberto Firmino's show was saved.
A job well done, hit a good run of form and started believing in ourselves. Add in players returning from injury and things are looking up - still have to work at it every game though, this league has no room for complacency. Edit: Newcaslte could really put the cherry on the cake today
well as crap as Southampton were that was a comfortable win against a team we have struggled against in recent past. As an added bonus yet another home clean sheet (ooh err missus) and nice boost to our GD oh & Mo
