What was so 'contentious' about those two yellows? After the first one, McCoist says "Yeah, straightforward that" (and it was - he literally stuck a leg out to stop him breaking when he knew he'd been done). Then the 2nd one, he's into the box in space if he gets away (not saying it's a clear goalscoring opportunity for a straight red), but it's an absolute nailed-on booking. McCoist "Well that may be a yellow, but I don't know about the first one". Dickhead.

absolutely **** performance. 3 points but flat, one paces and utter dogshit at times. it was a fair red it was a fair pen. everyone else gets that pen. was it red for konate? maybe but the second yellow is center circle with a clash of legs. it's a decision to make which konate deserves everything he gets if the card comes. the thing is inconsistency I suppose but both cole/young (tnt muppets) are clear yellows 100% the ref will be regretting giving that first yellow cos he waved off 2 pens and var had to get involved. 3 points at 12:30 after internationals so.....
Definitely a yellow so Konate should have been off imo. Couldn't happen against a more appropriate team though
