Same, loved him as a kid. Just pointing out the l that TUW wouldn't be a great player to have at a football club, probably suit Man Utd or Chelsea though

Back to focusing on the game. The actual thing that is actually happening SIGH.

The press conference is 1:30pm Friday

You can play a memory game if you like https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/name-starting-xi-liverpool-2-1-bournemouth-2020. you'll be able to hark back to a point in time where any worries were non existent as we ended up 25points clear at the top of the table!

We can play the same guessing game today who will play?

i suspect the same starting 11 as last weekend.

9-0 last season. So only 10 would show an improvement this year

    I'd take a professional 2-0 right now.

    a routine, in control game.

    On transfers

"I'm not sure it's something to do with Liverpool. Everything is more difficult. There are lot of things that are different, some clubs have a different way to do it and somehow it works. As a normal club, it's really difficult to catch up with them. That's not my problem, just how it is. Saudi Arabia, on top of that, hasn't made things easier. China tried it, USA still trying it. The endless money causes a problem, that's how it is. It would be cool if someone could find a solution. It became more difficult, but not to convince players to come to Liverpool. You just have to make sure you go for the right ones. I sit here and I'm really happy with our transfer window in this moment. We will keep looking, we will try to make the best decisions for this club and we will not use money or anything else as an excuse. We will just go for it. We do it our way and we are ready to fight."

"On the outgoing side, nothing will happen. But I learned a lot of things in this window. Incomings, there is still time and we will have a look."

    On Endo

"In football, we close books far too early. That's the world we are living in. My job is not to explain, our job is to make it happen on the pitch. We will see how much time we need to get used to what we do. I'm really happy these stories are still possible in the world of football."

"He is a late bloomer. He has improved ever year since he was on the proper football screen. When he came to Europe, it was not that easy. Now he has 50 games for Japan and I don't know how many for Stuttgart. On the pitch, he turns into a real monster. He was on my screen for a long time already. I am personally really happy about it. Now, let's start working."

"He is a really good footballer, 5ft 10 but jumps through the ceiling, really good in the air and generally defence. Tactically really smart. Good footballer, big heart, desire."

"I'm really happy we can announce the agreement. I am from Germany, I watch a lot of Bundesliga, I've known him since he was at Stuttgart and liked him from the start. Last week was a tricky one. You can either stick with the problem or find a solution."

    on injuries

"Stefan Bajcetic, really close but not there yet. We really count on him. Thiago Alcanatara, really close but not there yet.”

    Klopp on chav game

"We had 35% possession - and that is an absolute joke. That was not our idea for that game, but it happened."

"Dom was especially impressive, his work-rate until the last minute was immense. Being there, on that intense level, is pretty special.

Macca is really fine in small spaces, being a creator of whatever you want. He had a really good defensive game, too."

    On Salah:

"That was now a week ago. He had a super training week and I hope he can take that in the game. Besides that, nothing else to say. Nothing else happened since then."

    On the big game

"I've missed Anfield, the atmosphere. I'm pretty sure the people are excited to see us again, so let's use that as well. You have to be ready, fight and that's what I want to see."

    ON chav scum

"There is nothing to say. The transfer business is like that. Sometimes it works out, sometimes not. "

CHRIS SUTTON'S HAS GONE FOR A COMFORTABLE HOME WIN 3:1

    Liverpool v Bournemouth
I watched Bournemouth's draw with West Ham last weekend and, after all the hype, I was a bit underwhelmed by the Cherries under new boss Andoni Iraola.

It was Iraola's first game in charge, but I didn't really know what to make of them - maybe that will change here?

I will see for myself because I am at Anfield to cover this one for Radio 5 Live but, even if Bournemouth are better this time, I am expecting Liverpool's attacking players to make the difference. The Reds can use their bench too, and they have so many options up front.

There might still be chances for the Cherries, though. Liverpool were brilliant in the first half against Chelsea but they were disappointing after the break.

It looks like they are bringing Wataru Endo in from Stuttgart to play at the base of their midfield after missing out on Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to Chelsea.

At the moment, that is one area where they look short and it's the reason I am not going with them to get a clean sheet. I'm saying Dominic Solanke will score a consolation for Bournemouth, against his old club.

    Sutton's prediction: 3-1

Anish's prediction: I can't see anything other than a win for the Reds here. Liverpool look lethal going forward with their new signings in midfield. 4-0

JONES KNOWS BEST HAS GONE FOR A 2:2 DRAQ....HAHAA,
Liverpool vs Bournemouth, Saturday 3pm - PLAY SUPER 6 HERE!
Andoni Iraola has a reputation for serving it up to the big boys away from home. When managing in LaLiga, his Rayo Vallecano side put together two famous results in Barcelona - a 1-0 win and a 0-0 - whilst only going down to two 2-1 defeats at Real Madrid. On both of those trips to the Bernabéu they won the shot count, which shows his teams aren't plagued by fear when taking on big challenges.

His counter-attacking, high-pressing style is far more suited to a game of this nature where his team won't have the ball. Against West Ham last weekend, Bournemouth looked lacklustre for 60 minutes with the Hammers happy to relinquish possession. His team eventually found their stride and finished strongly to secure a 1-1 draw and I'm excited to see Iraola's aggressive style being deployed at Anfield. Although it's far too early in his reign to think about taking the 10/1 with Sky Bet for an way win, we can get the Cherries on side in the shots on target markets.

With a midfield lacking in defensive balance, the Liverpool machine isn't running to perfect working order yet and there will be opportunities for Bournemouth in transition. Jurgen Klopp's side have faced four or more shots on target in 53 per cent of their last 40 Premier League games. When factoring in Bournemouth's anticipated brave approach, it makes the 11/8 with Sky Bet an appealing angle for them to record four or more shots on target.

    SCORE PREDICTION: 2-2

    THIAGO IS OUT.
    PREDICTED LINE UP.

In the midfield, summer signings Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are set to start. Endo could be the defensive midfielder against Bournemouth if he manages to get a work permit in time. Cody Gakpo is expected to lead the line for Liverpool with Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz on either side of him.

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Szboszlai, Endo, Mac Allister; Salah, Gakpo, Diaz

Is Legendo able to play today at all? Presumably he won't start with so little training but a cameo off the bench if he's got clearance?

Would be unusual for Klopp but you never know, game at Anfield vs a team we’ll have great confidence over… maybe he’ll put him straight in

He did it with van Dijk against Everton and that worked out ok, so you never know I guess.
