Can't really go for a clean sheet still. Every station says we will concede about 2 goals. However that doesn't account for us changing formation or finally playing gomez even if he isn't as good. He hold width well.

Isak isn't fitting in still, he needs earlier passes and we are still largely just playing in front of teams.

I'll go 2-1 in hope.

Salah on the bench so he would suit partnering ekitike more in this system imo
 
This one needs some team news before attempting a prediction.

If we have a proper 11 then the prediction is very different.
 
Spurs seem to be able to score quite freely.

They have lost at home to fulham, drew with utd 2-2 and lost st home to Chelsea in the last game they failed to score in.

Our record on the other hand says away from home we concede 1.9 goals per game (the only away games we have not conceded 2 in is burnely and West ham who are relegation fodder)

Our record against top or bottom half so far says we concede at least 1.5 per game.

So this has to be spurs 2 lfc 2.

If we do get a clean sheet it will be a clearer signal we have changes that have worked to improve our defence.

After 4 blocks we have started ok with 4 goals conceded, jumped to 7 and then 9 and the final block was 5. We have conceded those goals to lower half teams, upper half teams, at home and away. Its very consistent.

Slot has changed since the debacle v Leeds and psg. Playing a 442 with box midfield may or may not solve this defensive malaise. Honestly how brighton didnt score I dont know. We were as wide opennas ever through the middle.

That's why I am going 2-2. Spurs have proven themselves well capable of getting a goal but have also been very poor defensively.

This is one where wolves have been trying but still getting beat. Sometimes narrow losses but if someone gets on them they fold. They do seem a tiny bit better away from home

My guesses for this line up are before the press conference so theres a couple knocks to worry about. (Bradley and wirtz)
