Luis Suarez is our teammate and our friend and as a group of players we are shocked and angered that he has been found guilty by the FA.

We totally support Luis and we want the world to know that. We know he is not racist.

We are a squad of many different nationalities and backgrounds. All of us support the Club's commitment to fighting racism. All of us accept there is no place in the game for any form of discrimination. As a group of players we totally support the Kick it Out Campaign.

We have lived, trained and played with Luis for almost 12 months and we don't recognise the way he has been portrayed. We will continue to support Luis through this difficult period, and as a popular and respected friend of all his teammates, he will not walk alone.

nice

Interesting. It seems everyone from our side is very much backing him.

I hope we really screw the FA.

B4F : like last nights statement it basically insinuated a witch hunt on Luis and I believe everyone from JW Henry down to the tea lady is now galvanised in their fury/hatred of the fa and the siege mentality will kick in

Yup. I hope it really makes us kick on. Yet again we're being shat on by one institution or another.

**** the FA.

Instead of issuing statement after statement and going on and on about Suarez not being a racist and about it not being fair they should just put in a bloody appeal!

This is the sort of support I expected from our own Liverpool Not 606 community.

No evidence has yet to be put to us for us to judge, so for now,

You'll Never Walk Alone Suarez!

Whether he is a racist or not you can't make racist remarks, which the FA have ruled that he has made.

If he/they don't agree with the FA's ruling then they should just appeal.

they probably will, but no doubt our american owners are looking at the option of the law courts/sport arbitration etc. before jumping in and appealing to the FA who have shown their inconsistent nature

it's good to see the players backing him....IMO he's been harshly treated by that panel. hope he appeals and it gets overturned. <ok>
