Robinson's knock is really important 31, hartley 13 is also great. this is real tail and they'd added nearly 50 and kept root there. Duckett, pope and stokes only managed 13 between them. Its a team sport overall but its an individual spot when batting. hopefully england bowling can get 3 top order out like that as well.

the usual England collapse. start well get set the nobody has any clue of sticking in the face of real quality bowling and wickets tumble. and keep tumbling. bairstow great except the inevitable ball gets him amd he's out for a score he could have got playing cautiously. stokes, root, pope all cheap. it really is a case of quality trumps swinging away as it should.
In fairnss there was some real turn there for india but equally when players are swinging away and missing or edging then you will lose wickets. crawley played well and then had a massive turning ball that drifted out and he swung massively at it and missed and it turned about 30 degrees to hit the stumps. Bairstow was whacking it about then again a bit of movement and a feather edge that was obvious
