as it stand Rahul should walk into the pavilion and retire or start swinging as a 50% strike rate is actually hurting badly.

the next guy in has to swing away as this won't win the world cup probably.

they are headed for <300 here

they are not showing they will get there.

right now they are bottled up.

170/4 with 15 overs left coming.

they will have to open up massively to get 300

250 is more likely just now.

    that'll be that.

certainly less than 250 and possibly not all 50 overs as well.

    15 off the first over.

Barring some major collapse Oz should walk this.

I swear to God, I screamed at the telly "That's outside the ****ing line!" in real time, even before a replay, for the Smith dismissal. Incredible that neither he nor the batsman at the other end thought that worthy of a review.

Head has got the cigars and deckchairs out here. Once they get past 200 with 5 wickets left it's all over.

the Indians looked like they choked.

they left Australia have the middle of their own innings with extremely slow play until kholi went amd the Australians could bowl just about everyone 8n their own team for 10 or 12 overs for 4 an over and thst killed the Indians score imo.

the aussies had their best bowlers for the end and kept the score down

Proper drab tournament and that’s not just cos England were ****.

Absolutely no excitement in the group with games either being won by huge margin, or any upset being pointless cos the bigger teams still had 8 more games to play to get the record right.

Need to make it smaller groups where the smaller teams may actually stand a good chance of going through thanks to a couple of wins and then a quarter / semi / final.

And 50 over cricket needs a bit of a review. More/less fielding restrictions. Back to 1 ball so it starts reversing at the end?
