ducketts bat there was absolutely bizarre at the time of day and game situation.

    absolutely stupid.

you've fought and fought to stay in and get scoring and have the entire ashes in your hands and do that.

    moronic. complete luck here now.

Aus women win the first T20, which means its practically impossible for Eng to win the Womens Ashes. They'd have to win all the remaining games.

Nothing against the points system for the womens, but if the Test Match is worth so much compared to the others probably not a great idea for it to be the first game in the series.
I mean the series is virtually over by game 2.

Yeah, I think you have nailed it.

The womens test should be last up and honestly they could have used the few odi/t20 as warm ups for the mens.

Right now nobody gives a **** about the womens really.

The mens probably would be better with the break in the middle rather than now having 4 in a row.

Not that any of it matters now.

I guess the worry is what if one side dominates the one day games and makes the test match pointless when they’re trying to grow that part of the game.

Not sure why the controversy around the starc/duckett catch.

Was clearly not out. Guy catches the ball then slides it along the ground while trying to keep his balance. Should have done what always taught to do and catch it and keep your elbows up and roll onto your back if needed.

OTherese coukd say all those times players catch it on boundary then throw it back infield before going over is out as they had the ball in their hand for a second.

Maybe. Could still end up in same situation where team has won couple ODi/t29 games then wins test and that’s it.

Maybe the test needs to be worth less points?
