Hmmm not bad for a proper test score. About 50/1 for each wick which could be OK for the top order in a lot of tests. England will be 50/3 is the issue still.
It's done badly wrong due to poor drops. 300 is now moved on from ok for England at 180/4 to being a winnable postion for nz. 450 is very gettable now I suppose and as a result England 50/3 = a losing position and hoping the rain hits hard.
Headed for a declaration and a possible innings defeat following in. The issue for me is you simply have to get the most out of Anderson and Broad as the second day they are not as energetic. 3 dropped dollies. That's the story.
I see moeen was approached by mccullem. Apparently "if" half the world was dead or England were going to India. Ffs. Like.... drop leach immediately and get him in and use him. Bats better than leach by a mile and can actually bowl a bit. Seriously, England needed a difference last 2 days. Need to get genuine spin in team
Pope century. Prob throws bat at next bat and gets skittles. 217/2 is far too good a postion for this team not to **** the draw up
Decent performance so far from the batsmen. Guessing the pitch isn’t offering too much given the high scores in both innings so far
