The scores were good in sfs but chasing was the way to go in each and same in final.

It's still bish Bosh batting and low quality in the bowling stuff

Amazed how poor NZ's bowling was, Aside from Boult none of the other bowlers got anywhere near the standard

Yeah but they are hussled, cant get rhythm and are expected to bowl from a straight jacket.

It's never quality, just pave variation possible or try spin it pitch just never helps.

Ah just mentioned this in pub thread, pretty shocking stuff isn’t it. worrying how long that’s gone on for and it’s clearly not just a one club thing either, just ingrained in the culture across society let alone cricket to be fair.

Not surprised tbh. Used to play club cricket and there was lots 'casual' racism every game.

Cricketers are just as foul mouthed and offensive as Sunday league footballers, mainly cause they're the same people. Football in the Winter, Cricket in the Summer.

Can't say I'm surprised, nor do I believe it's only confined to one cricket county club.

The issue in this country is that casual racism is seen as banter. Unless you say the high profile terms like 'n*gger', or "p*ki', no one will bat an eye lid.

The left-arm spinner added six wickets to the four he took on day one of the second Test to finish with figures of 10-119 at the ****hede Stadium.

<laugh> I know I should not find that funny but I do
Even funnier the auto delete spotted it too lmao

My guess is the pitch is turning at right angles given it’s only day 2 and 17 of the 20 wickets have fallen to spinners.

Annoyingly it’s on Bt as can’t watch. Don’t understand why Bt have bought the rights when they show no other cricket.

Have any of you seen the film THE EDGE ?

It’s the story of the England test squad from 2009 - 2013.

    I highly recommend it .
