This is a freak one-off. The twat was playing for Henley-on-Thames two weeks ago. Nothing to lose = no nerves PS Never give the convicts anything. They wouldn't
Still, a run a ball is pretty good going, especially considering he is number eleven and he's showing the rest how to do it.
England bowlers, esp Finn, should be ashamed of themselves. Useless middle of the pitch deliveries...32 pff 4 overs he went for. Mind the young lad should have been out stumped but it wasn't given. If at least two of England's top six don't get big runs then they want shooting. It's an embarrassment and if we loose this match, which is a big possibility now, then their brainless bowling at a 19 yo number 11 on debut will be the reason. That and our batsman not being able to convert a start into a big innings. Hopefully the new ball will do the trick..... Rant over
Obvious to see that once the ball goes past 20 overs, with the over head conditions now (no cloud cover) and pitch still being decent to bat on, I expect big scores for a few English batsmen, guys with day 5 tickets may not feel too bad now!
My sentiments exactly. A young nineteen year old lad on his debut and batting at number eleven gets 98, well played son, well played
RHC being here makes me laugh more! I obviously want England (and Britain ) to do well but you have to laugh when we were in such a strong position and are now well and truly in the ****!
