    Bring in Hales to open with Cook.. push Taylor or Root up to 3, drop Moeen down the order..
    Bell has been living on past glories for too long!

    Vaughan thinks Bell should be on the tour to SA <yikes>

    Need a huge partnership from Cook and Root now.

    Moeen was very good coming in lower down the order and playing with freedom. He deserves a place in team he's just not an opener. He's not even a long term option and they only shoved him there to deal with the spin in sub continent.

    Hell be back down the order again against SA.

    That's a no then.

    Useless. Completely useless.

    Bye bye Bell, it's been distinctly average.

    Just catching up on today's play...Bell did what Bell does. He's cheated his way through his England career and made a shed load of money but when you break it down he's very, very, very rarely contributed when it matters. He's been mentally weak throughout his career.

    Look at this from the middle order;

    Bell b Malik 0
    Root lbw b Shah 6
    Taylor c Younus b Babar 2
    Bairstow lbw b Shah 0
    Patel lbw b Babar 0

    Criminal.

    Also depressingly predictable.

    If Bell ever plays another test match the selectors need sacking.

    120 - 7. Cook still going, but another 164 needed. Somehow, I doubt it, but you never know <yikes>
