Too scared to play big shots and get out?

hales comes in and Instead of being 20/30 hales he tries to play the english way for fear of getting out to a big shot for 10 and being slaughtered and out the team again...

need to to pick a settled 11 who are te actual 11 best players and play them for a year. Let them **** up and improve, don't kick them out if they have 1 bad innings. But also let them know that's the case so they aren't scared to play.

you can have your Bell's and trots play the steady innings and allow others to just go out and tee off, especially in the first 10.

We we go for a steady run a ball while MCCullum comes out and spanks 50 from 30 balls....

Peter Moores must be the first to go followed by the ****er who won't even sing the national anthem and then the cockbadger of a bowling coach who should be utterly ashamed of himself.
I'm not all that convinced there needs to be a radical change of personnel,it's a sea change in positivity and tactics, there seems to be no proactive planning, particularly in power play overs
All the top sides have someone at the top of the order who can tee off and hit good balls to the fence without slogging across the line, often our run chase is already determined by a lack of adventure at the top because we just can't accelerate through the middle overs meaning any score over a run a ball is beyond our capabilities. The bowling is just embarrasing,I don't ever want to see Broad or Finn, presumably to a plan, bowling short & wide filth that club cricketers would be ashamed of. We never look to bowl yorkers and the last player who really thought about the effectiveness of changing the pace of his bowling was probably Adam Hollioke.
Pieterson back in is an absolute must

    Ali
    Hales
    Bell
    KP
    Morgan
    Butler
    Bopara
    Woakes
    Jordan
    Tredwell
    Anderson

be flexible in the batting so if Ali is out first get Bell in with Hales.

Our plan is to score 200 after 40 overs while losing 3 or 4 wickets then go and score 100 off te last 10.

If if it comes off, you only ever get par.

Let Hales & KP (or put Taylor in 6 and move eveyone up a bit if no KP) go and score 200 off 30 overs and get ahead of te rate then you can bat for run a ball for the next 10 overs or so and score you're 100 off the last 10 to get a competitive target.

Get ahead and and rebuild if needed, not fall behind and try play catch up

edit: forgot root! Put him in for boosts and get some overs from him and Ali if needed as well as KP of really slow pitch.

id have Stokes, Taylor and Bopara in the wings waiting as well. Broad doesn't deserve anything for me... Totally out of form.

10 runs less in exactly half the overs for 6 less wickets - for once it was extremely comfortable. As it should have been.

Shame it's being played in Australia giving them home advantage but guess only fair as they played in NZ in the group stages.

At least england can say those lost to both finalists and obviously the eventual winners <whistle>

    ****ing Hell!!!!! <yikes>

I've only just found out that my mate and old cricket captain from Aston is the CEO of the MCC <yikes> I went to see him when he was CEO at Trent Bridge, but had no idea he'd dropped the top job! I can see a few free days at the next Lord's test coming up <laugh>
