Could be true, but Liverpool's arrogance that they were going to lift the league makes my Blue Arrow link funny.

Knowing Liverpool they were so arrogant they advertised for stewards before seeking residents' approval!!

Can't remember any Chelsea fans on here saying we were definitely going to win the league. Whereas Fordeck etc said they would batter us and win the league <ok>
The letter is true.I wouldn't mind betting that us & Hull already have plans in place for a victory parade. I don't think you could give 24 hours notice to close numerous streets around a city.

<laugh> maybe not. But it is not funny when you are all logical about it. Stop being sensible, you are ruining my Blue Arrow link (but have also reminded me to post one if you guys lose to Hull<laugh>

I dont remember lots of Liverpool fans saying we were going to win the league and Im obsessed with LFC. I guess you must be a bit more obsessed with LFC than I am. (which is really saying something.)

We have had massive power cuts down here for 24 hours so have heard no news, How did you get on last night?

<laugh>Not when Liverpool refused to change our fixture. I've been saying for weeks tiredness would effect us in the second leg

Liverpool didn't refuse to change the fixture, the PL did. I also think Atletico played Sunday as well - i.e. the same packed fixtures as you.

btw the link in the op goes to an empty page!

Relax, it is just banter. And hilarious as so many Dippers thought they had won the Prem.

Chelsea fans have not been so arrogant about our title challenge. You guys have, that's why it may come back to haunt you. And Steve: the Haunted One<laugh>

Really? When did this happen? Even a cursory glance at our board just a month ago would have left anyone with the impression that 9 out of 10 Reds thought we'd finish 3rd, 2nd at best. Even after the Easter games it was 50/50 at most.

Are you some sort of Asperger's case who thinks that when even Aldershot or Rochdale fans sing "We're the greatest football team the world has ever seen" that they mean it?

When it comes to the big sides, I'm not really a fan of having a victory parade for winning 1 trophy. If your Wigan or Pompey then fair enough, as it was such a huge achievement for them to win the FA Cup. But for a big club like Arsenal to have a victory parade for 1 domestic cup I find fairly laughable. Is an FA Cup, really that big a deal. Yeah it's nice to win it but it's not your number 1 goal at the start of the season.

Even Chelsea planning a victory parade for just winning the PL is abit over the top when you look back at all the success you guys have had in recent years, is it really that big a deal?

If you had won the CL and PL then fair enough, that would be huge and worth a parade, but just for the title is a little over the top.

I can kind of understand the scousers planning one, as it has been years since they last won the league:biggrin:

Hairy muff - their game was less intense.

Tiredness affected us more than Atletico that's for sure.

awwww , better spend few hundred million more for some squad depth ay ?

didnt one of your lot say he was hoping to get Real in the final as Maureen had the measure of Ancelotti ?

arrogance at its finest .

and the "thanks for biting "

:cheesy:

standard response when you are made to look a tool .

har har har , i wasnt being serious and you fell for it , har har har .

dont think anyone still buys that chestnut

D+ must try harder
