3-0 Woodrow again. Maybe he's hungry for Matt Smith's spot?

3-2 final result. We don't like to do things the easy way!

Really good first 80 minutes from the youngsters by all accounts however. And great experience for them. Better still now that we're through, albeit a squeeky 3-2 in the end, they've every chance of performing again in the next round - and hopefully more after that!

Bit of a scare towards the end but still a good win considering there was so many changes from the Newcastle game and with quite a few youngsters in the team.

Here's to a good cup run.

Kind of interesting the subs Slavi made -

Joronen; Kavanagh, Stearman, Ream, Ryan Sessegnon; Christensen, Parker, Adeniran (Tunnicliffe 64'); De La Torre (Cairney 88'), Woodrow, Tayo Edun

Unused subs: Button, Malone, Kalas, Matt Smith, Floyd Ayité

Tunnicliffe came on when we were 3-0 up and only one (Cairney) was made when we were on the back foot late on.

All the goals .. and a fair bit of the panic at the end .. and Dennis Adeniran celebrating with his dad, which got him booked!

That sort of defensive play against some of the championship teams and we will be punished
