My take;
Hall and Livramento were Ashworth signings as he’s seen them through England development.
Tonali was a scout job as he was/is a top player Milan wanted to sell. Now we know why, so that scout should be ****ing sacked.
Barnes is a Howe signing as he wanted the maverick ASM out and needed cover there.
Barnes is already more productive than ASM
Phillips was definitely a player Howe was after and I fear he still will be. I personally refuse to believe that Hall isn't a better player than Dan Burn. I'm convinced Howe picked Burn and is manipulating things accordingly.
I'd like to point out that one of our best performances of this season was away at Man united and that was with Tino and Hall playing ..... Hall scored a goal and we've never seen that back 4 again... it's baffling.
Barnes is a good player hes got goals in him.. he's got quality. ... it's players like Murphy and Longstaff still holding us back... the worst part is they've managed to get the fans lapping up their dreadful performances. Murphy pulls funny faces and longstaff runs around alot doing nothing 90 times out of 100.
Yeah but neither would be playing of it weren’t for injuries and season long bans
I fully expect both to be starting and playing next season. They'll sell Joelinton and almiron maybe and buy Anderson from Palace and maybe Solanke.
