Its his ego thats the problem...those above him should have reigned it in by making him responsible for negotiations re money for players as this is his strength.
We were a financial mess when enic took over and his skills have cured that problem.
But cos he is allowed to interfere in footballing matters he has made a mess of the new stadium by not concentrating on it and constantly messes up with the playing side by making stupid manager decisions.

It aint hindsight to say that hoddle was renowned as a bad man manager, that sacking jol was done so disgracefully, that avb was going to be another ramos, that sherwood was just wrong and that MP is a huge gamble....and it aint rocket science to let the ****ing manager chose his own ****ing players...it didnt work with jol (he wanted a DM at the beginning of the season hecwas sacked and was given darren bent), ramos, avb, sherwood and it aint working with MP...

This is like 2008 before ramos was sacked

It is. Any team which is consistently picking up yellow cards and getting red cards and losing football matches, is in my opinion, a rabble. At the moment we look a rabble.

Levy has a huge ego and thats a major problem for us.

Yup and they say history never repeats itself. This Chairman never learns and just goes from one mistake to any even bigger one, time and again. His tenure is an empty vessel as far as I'm concerned. He's done the job he was brought in to do. The books are balanced - great. But now your ego is clouding your judgement and destroying our club.

Please go now Levy and give us some pride back.

In any other industry a Board who had the fourth or fifth best performing company while having the sixth most income would be considered miraculous.

Levy needs to be prepared to let any new manager manage - buy/sell his own players and coach and select them how he sees fit =- that's to start with. When a manager's successful, there's never any doubt who the boss is. I can't imagine de Boer would be interested unless he knew he would be the boss.

Marc Overmars is the DOF at Ajax, too. De Boer has never worked as a club manager without a DOF.

De Boer would be no different to Pochettino if Levy doesn't back him. He'd come in and analyse the squad and give Levy a list of players he would like transferred in and out of the club and if Levy doesn't meet those requirements then FDB would be no better off than Pochettino is now.

If a manager needs more 'backing' than a multi-million pound salary, his choice of a backroom team and a squad costing £200m then i don't want him anywhere near my club. This belief that managers have to sign their own choice of players to be successful has no basis in fact.

Then FDB does some insisting because levy's running out of options. Having won the Dutch league four times running tells me that he knows his football and can motivate players. Getting him here and believing as I do that Podolski is his sort of player I think we have the basics of a good team. To me a Dutch manager of Spurs is better than an Argentine one.

Which is what I posted earlier about sniveling Spurm. If you stopped supporting Spurs because of one man joining then it's your loss and you're acting like a spoilt little brat.
