The state of what he did in the qf v real means I just hope the door doesn't hit him on the way out as he could be out for 6 months.
If he has burnt bridges with Klopp for whatever reasons he won't get near the side again imho. I remeber a pre season tour when Klopp was on camera and sakho comes into shot and jokes about something, Klopp didn't like it. Never saw much of sakho again until he was sold.
Klopp said something on camera about Sakho being late for things. Turned out this was a habit of his and Klopp decided Sakho didn't have the necessary discipline or respect for his (Klopp's) liking. As you say, never clapped eyes on him again until he fetched up at Palace.
In the 4 years at Palace, Sakho has managed 64 games. So he's hardly pulled up trees since leaving. Clearly the decision to get rid was the right one, its not just about talent the attitude has to be right as well. If Keita hasn't got that then he go without any fuss imo. He (Keita) hasn't really shown much in his time with us, flashes of skill and talent which I think we all expected, but he never seemed to have the drive to displace some of the regular starters. Lets take the money and move on.
Unfortunately we’ll only get a fraction of what we paid. And we will need some gullible club to come calling.
It comes to something when I didnt realise he'd been here 3 years, he's made absolutely no impression at all.
Came as a bright young 23 year old in demand leaves as a washed up crock at 27. Thinks he can interest atletico. Hes having a larf.
To be fair, the injuries aren't his fault. If his time with us is up, I hope for his sake he can rebuild his career somewhere else and show the potential that he has/had. At least his bank account and medal collection don't look too bad.
Same. I was going to say that the first of those three years was in loan at RBS but just checked and it's actually four years since we signed him so he's been at Liverpool for three (as you said). Lads never going to make it with us, simply not good enough or physically fit enough.
I think he was reasonably effective as a quasi LW in a 4231 and did ok in interceptions and helps with that press. He's a dribbler and has a decent pass in him. have a quick look. he's made of glass or is unable to play through minor knocks. I personally think he's just given up a bit. a lot of the things people are gooing themselves over thiago are present here. he's not quite as strong and he's not as aggressive, but the raw ability is in there. not as good, not saying that. but there's real talent in there.
